On March 2, 2026, a lecture commemorating the retirement of Professor Takatoshi Sorimachi was held in Auditorium A of our hospital. Professor Sorimachi spoke about his achievements over the 14 years since he arrived at our hospital, and provided valuable insights to the large audience, including members of related departments.

After the lecture, a farewell party was held for Dr. Honda, who will be retiring this year, as well as other retiring medical staff from Neurosurgery ward. Professor Sorimachi will continue to be registered at our university as a visiting professor, and Dr. Honda will continue to work at Hachioji Hospital as a specially appointed associate professor. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone for their many years of hard work.
