Effective April 1, 2026, we have established and commenced operations of a Stroke Center, with the aim of providing optimal stroke treatment to the local community through collaboration between the Departments Neurosurgery, Neurology, and Critical Care Department.

As part of this initiative, a public lecture was held on Saturday, May 16th, where three medical departments utilized their respective expertise to raise awareness about stroke prevention, early detection, and faster treatment.

From Neurosurgery, Lecturer Takahiro Nagata gave a lecture on the topic of "Headaches and Stroke."

On the day of the event, we received many questions from the participants, and it was a valuable opportunity to deepen our interactions with local residents and emergency medical personnel.

Going forward, our hospital will continue to dedicate itself to stroke prevention and treatment as a core hospital responsible for emergency medical care in the region.
