Please apply at least 10 days before your desired date of participation.

Courses

①Half-day course (9:30-14:30)

Meet at 9:30 (Tokai University students meet at 9:50)
9:30-10:00 Changing time and explanation
10:00-12:00 Ward experience
12:00-13:00 Lunch and break
13:00-14:00 Hospital tour (Emergency care, OPE, preferred ward)
14:00-14:30 Q&A and explanation, disband after changing clothes

* Tokai University students are not eligible to visit the hospital is
The tour will finish around 12:30 without lunch or breaks.
*When touring the hospital, you will go outside to see the medical helicopter.
Please prepare your own cold weather protection.
Please let the accompanying nursing staff know which ward you would like to visit on the day.

②One-day course (9:30-16:30)

*Only if you wish to apply to two departments

Meet at 9:30 (Tokai University students meet at 9:50)

12:00-13:00 Lunch and break
13:00-14:00 Hospital tour (Emergency care, OPE, preferred ward)

After lunch, Ward Experience 2 will begin at 1:00 PM (3 hours in the afternoon only).
*When touring the hospital, you will go outside to see the medical helicopter.

What to bring

・Uniform (training wear), shoes (for training)

・Student ID or training name tag, name holder

・Drinks, a carrier bag (large enough to hold valuables)

・Health management chart

・Written pledge

・Non-woven masks (wear masks inside the building)

*N95 masks and surgical masks will be distributed at our clinic.

remarks

  • Once the participation date has been confirmed, changes to the date and area cannot be made except in unavoidable circumstances.
    note that.

  • When you visit the clinic, you may wear casual clothes.

  • Depending on the infectious disease or weather conditions (heavy snow, etc.), the event may be canceled at short notice or we may not be able to accommodate your request.

  • During the ward experience, you will be asked to wear training clothes (uniforms).

  • Transportation costs will be borne by the participant.

Compliance matters regarding infectious disease prevention measures

  • Please take thorough infection prevention measures when participating.

  • On the day of participation, you will be required to submit a pledge regarding infection control measures.

  • Please use the "Health Management Chart" to record your health status one week prior to participation and submit it on the day of the event.

  • If you experience any symptoms such as fever within 5 days after the event, please contact us.

Reasons for not being able to participate

  • Your body temperature on the day of participation is 37.5℃ or higher, or 0.5℃ or higher than normal, or you have cold symptoms (sore throat, discomfort in the throat, cough, runny nose, shortness of breath, fatigue, or other poor health) even if your temperature is below 37.5℃.

  • If you have contracted COVID-19, the date of onset will be counted as day 0, and no more than 6 days will have passed by the day of participation.

  • If you have influenza, the date of onset is counted as day 0, and no more than 6 days have passed since the day of participation, and no more than 2 days have passed since the fever subsided.
