To create new medicines (drug discovery), safety tests using animals and clinical trials where the drugs are directly administered to actual patients to investigate their safety and efficacy are necessary. In addition to clinical trials, research conducted on humans for the advancement of medicine and healthcare (clinical research) also utilizes patients' medical records and samples provided by patients. Such clinical research cannot be conducted without the cooperation of patients. We provide ethical considerations and support for clinical research to ensure that patients participating in the research are not harmed. Furthermore, in order to conduct clinical research fairly and scientifically, a professional team including doctors, pharmacists, nurses, coordinators, specialized administrative staff, and experts in research ethics and statistics is necessary, and at our hospital, Clinical Trials and Research Center operates as the foundation supporting clinical research. We would like to further expand our services in the future and contribute to the advancement of medicine and healthcare.
