Division of Postgraduate Education

Greetings

Division of Postgraduate Education provides education and program management for the initial training program conducted after obtaining a national license as a physician, followed by the three to four years of specialized training in various fields (resident training). Initial training involves a wide range of clinical specialties, including internal medicine, surgery, emergency medicine, obstetrics and Obstetrics and Gynecology, pediatrics, psychiatry, and community training. Resident training is divided into basic specialty areas, with the goal of mastering 19 basic specialties, including internal medicine and surgery. In fiscal year 2024, 46 residents were fully matched for initial training, and 65 residents began their specialty training at our hospital. Tokai University Hospital 's fundamental philosophy is to "cultivate excellent doctors." To this end, Division of Postgraduate Education offers a wide range of programs and programs, including collaboration with local doctors, training in areas with limited medical resources, such as remote islands, and collaboration with popular training facilities across the country. We are committed to cultivating excellent doctors who can meet the needs of today's medical field.
