Overview

Illness or injury can cause various worries and anxieties in daily life. At General Consulting Office, specialized medical social workers (certified social workers) are available to provide consultation to patients and their families at such times. Depending on the content of the consultation, we will consult with doctors, nurses, public health nurses, registered dietitians, pharmacists, etc., and will also refer patients to government agencies, counseling agencies, and medical institutions as necessary.

You can request an interpreter

We request interpretation from an organization (approved by Kanagawa Prefecture) that provides medical interpretation for people whose native language is not Japanese.

  • As a general rule, advance reservations are required.

  • There will be charges.

  • Available languages: Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese, Korean, Tagalog, Thai, English, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Laotian, Russian, French, Nepali

Accommodation for patients and their families is available

We have a patient and family accommodation facility called "Kamome no Ie" that we operate for patients and their families who need to stay in the area from their distant homes in order to receive bone marrow transplants.

  • Advance reservations are required.

  • It may not be available in some circumstances.

  • There will be charges.
