Overview
What is a medical mediator?
These staff members act as a bridge between patients and their families and medical professionals (doctors, nurses, and other medical staff) by facilitating dialogue in a neutral position.
Patients and their families who are rushed to the emergency room due to a sudden illness or accident are often faced with the urgent need to make important decisions, including treatment plans, while struggling to comprehend the situation. Medical mediators provide support to these distressed and anxious patients and families, helping them understand the medical condition, assisting with decision-making, and offering psychological support.
Furthermore, we listen attentively to opinions, requests, and complaints regarding the medical care and treatment of inpatients and outpatients, facilitate dialogue with medical professionals, and support the provision of safe and secure medical care and treatment.
